2. The water pump may experience wear or loose packing due to excessive service life. If it is shut down and lurked underwater for a long time, it can also cause corrosion, such as holes and cracks.

Solution:

First, increase the water pressure, then fill the pump body with water, and then turn it on. At the same time, check whether the check valve is tight and whether there is any air leakage in the pipelines and joints.

When the water pump leaks water or air. Perhaps the nut was not tightened during installation.

If the leakage is not severe, temporary repairs can be applied with some wet mud or soft soap. If there is water leakage at the joint, a wrench can be used to tighten the nut. If the leakage is severe, it must be disassembled and replaced with a cracked pipe; Reduce the head and press the nozzle of the water pump 0.5m underwater.

The water pump does not discharge water

Common reasons:

The pump body and suction pipe are not fully filled with water; The dynamic water level is lower than the water pump filter pipe; Rupture of suction pipe, etc.

Solution:

Eliminate the malfunction of the bottom valve and fill it with water; Lower the installation position of the water pump so that the filter pipe is below the dynamic water level, or wait for the dynamic water level to rise before pumping again; Repair or replace the suction pipe.
